In a joint celebration of our 10th anniversary year, Blackpowder Morris are hosting the annual meeting of Morris sides in Lewes, historic county town of East Sussex, following the increasing popularity of Sussex Day. In 2024 the Sussex Day of Dance is on Saturday 15th June. We have 16 Morris sides from across Sussex (and beyond) who will be joining us in Lewes from 11-5pm. We will be dancing at various locations throughout the Cliffe part of the town. The venues are The John Harvey Tavern, The Snowdrop, The Dorset and the pedestrian precinct, then all sides will head to Harveys Brewery rear yard for a final dance from 4-5pm.
